GITE AUBERGE LES CASCADES, Stopover and holiday gite in Campan

Located at the foot of the Pic du Midi, 6 kilometers from the ski resort of La Mongie , the gîte auberge welcomes you summer and winter alike. We are also at the start of beautiful hikes, on the Néouvielle and GR10C lake circuit. We have 23 beds divided into 5 bedrooms for 2 to 5 people, all equipped with a bathroom, wc and a dormitory for 6 squares.

The ground floor is composed of a bar with a fireplace to enjoy a hot drink with some sweets or an aperitif accompanied by a beautiful board of local charcuterie/cheese. We have a dining room. We offer a dinner prepared with local and organic products (Label HaPy Saveurs) , served at the common table at 7:30 p.m. and cooked by Gilles. You can also sit in the living room to enjoy a moment of reading or playing with the children.

The terrace opens onto a pretty garden where you can have lunch or a drink in summer while enjoying a landscape opening onto our beautiful Pyrenees .

For those who want to discover the mountains, we are at the start of hiking trails leading to the Pic du Midi , Lake Payolle , or Lake Gréziolles , for all levels. We also offer rental of GIANT mountain bikes with electric assistance, rental of snowshoes.

For cycling lovers, you will find on your route 3 mythical passes of the Tour de France , the Col d'Aspin , the Hourquette d'Ancizans , the Col du Tourmalet .

In winter, the resort of La Mongie is 6 kilometers away. You will find beautiful ski slopes, restaurants and various activities to keep young and old alike busy.
