Terms of Sales

Article 1: Duration of stay

The reservation of the stay is concluded for a fixed period and the customer cannot claim any right to remain in the premises.

Article 2: Reservation on the lodge's website

Reservations can only be made on the lodge's website. Validation of the reservation is done by a card imprint. Payment will be made directly on site by credit card, check, holiday voucher, cash.

In the case of a reservation on the sites of our partners for which payment cannot be made online, the bank card details are collected by the owner of the gîte who undertakes to only use them in the event of cancellation as specified in article 3: Cancellation conditions.

Article 3: Cancellation conditions

Are considered as cancellation:

- The change of dates of the reservation,

- Failure to pay contractual installments,

-Oral or written warning of the Client's non-arrival for personal reasons,

-The non-arrival of the Client without warning,

-Breach of the rules of the lodge.

Any stay booked or started at the gîte is due in full in accordance with the reservation made by the customer. No reduction or discount will be made in the event of non-arrival or early departure, at the initiative of the customer, whatever the reason (unless excluded below).

No refunds or cancellations can be made on gift cards.

For a reservation made on our site:

The customer who cancels:

between 7 and 0 days before the day of arrival will owe 100% of the amount

between 14 and 8 days before the day of arrival will owe 50% of the amount

between 30 and 15 days before, the day of arrival will owe 30% of the amount

THE CUSTOMER DID NOT SHOW UP:

100% of the reservation amount will be debited from the bank card given as guarantee.

Exclusions to the application of the cancellation conditions:

- Death of a family member: a death certificate and proof of family relationship must be provided,

- Hospitalization of the client or a member of his family: an admission certificate from the hospital specifying the reason for admission must be provided,

- Major loss at the customer's main home (fire, destruction, burglary): proof to be provided.

Article 4: Group reservations

For groups, we ask the reservation manager to send us cancellations by email.

These cancellations will be subject to the conditions below:

between 7 and 0 days before the day of arrival will owe 100% of the amount

between 14 and 8 days before the day of arrival will owe 50% of the amount

between 30 and 15 days before, the day of arrival will owe 30% of the amount

Article 5: Arrival

Reception is from 4:00 p.m. In the event of late arrival, the customer must notify the service provider.

Article 6: Departure

Rooms must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure at the latest. After 10:00 a.m., an additional night's stay will be charged.

Article 7: Payment of the balance

Additional consumption and services can also be paid at the end of the stay.

The balance must be paid no later than the day of departure. Cash, checks, bank cards and holiday vouchers are accepted.

Article 8: Tourist tax

The tourist tax is a local tax that the Gite Auberge Les Cascades then pays to the public treasury.

Article 9: Capacity

The reservation is established for a specific number of people. If the number of customers is greater than the reservation, the Gite Auberge Les Cascades is able to refuse additional customers.

This refusal can in no case be considered as a refusal to provide the service, so that in the event of the departure of a greater number of customers than those refused, no reimbursement can be considered.

Article 10: Animals

Pets are not accepted .

Section 11: Art of living, use of places

Respect for a certain art of living is required of all guests to guarantee the tranquility of the place and the comfort of all.

Smoking is prohibited in rooms and common areas. The customer undertakes to respect the facilities and return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay.

Customers undertake to declare and financially assume any possible damage for which they may be responsible.

Children living at the Les Cascades lodge are under the sole responsibility of their parents or educators.

The Gite Auberge Les Cascades does not operate under self-management. Picnics are not allowed in the rooms.

The customer undertakes to respect the etiquette instructions indicated in the welcome booklet given upon your arrival.

Article 12: Special wishes

They must be reported during registration, and are taken into consideration by the
responsible for the domain, as far as possible and depending on existing availability, but are never guaranteed.

Article 13: Respect for the environment.

In order to limit our impact on the environment and help us maintain our rates, we ask customers to kindly turn off the lights when leaving the rooms, not to waste water, to throw rubbish in the trash cans, turn off the heating before opening a window.

The towels provided at the start of the stay are provided for the entire duration of the stay (however, for stays longer than three days, they will be replaced by the Gite Auberge Les Cascades)
